After graduating in 1986 as both a Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa recipient from Florida State University, she completed her Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown Law School, interned at BET as well as served as Assistant General Counsel, Dept of Navy, reporting to both the Pentagon & White House. As Assistant General Counsel, Dept of Navy, reporting to the Pentagon and President Bill Clinton’s White House Office Of General Counsel, she conducted the certification of Cabinet members such as Secretary of State, the Late Madeline Albright and Secretary of Defense, William Cohen.
In private law practice she conducted over 3,600 residential & commercial real estate transactions in 3 states. A successful 20 year Immigration practitioner; specializing in all immigrant visa, she is the General Counsel of American Immigration Legal Center, a law firm which specializes in Immigration law.
Since 2009 Dr. Diane has helped 10,000+ Nigerian & Ghanaian women start small businesses.
She currently serves as the Director of Education and Jamaican President for the United Nations Non-Governmental Organization, New Future Foundation Inc., the Jamaican Chapter Under Queen Mother Dr Delois Blakely, who has been in the UN for the past 50+ years… working along with Nelson & Winnie Mandela. As National President, NFFI-JAMAICA she focuses on providing technology eg. Tablets, Computers for deserving high schoolers.
In October 2018, she sponsored and co-hosted the 1st African Economic Panel at Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo (FITCE) with Broward County Mayor and was appointed the FITCE Ambassador representing the Florida Trade Conference for all 54 African Countries. She has held this position from 2018 to the present.
Dr. Diane was recently crowned Senior Miss Black America of All-time, Miss Senior United States 2021 – present, Miss Senior Jamaica Universe 2021 – present and Miss Senior Florida United States 2021-2023.
In addition to numerous proclamation and citation from State of Florida government officials, he was a recipient of a MARYLAND GENERAL ASSEMBLY official citation in 2017, GEORGIA SENATE official citation from Senator Dr. Donzella James and a CERTIFICATE OF SPECIAL RECOGNITION from Governor of the State of Rhode Island, Gina M. Raimondo 2017 and in 2022, the US Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
Her most recent honors in 2021 includes the US Congressional certificate of commendation from Congressman Steven Alexzander Horsford, who serves as the U.S. Representative for Nevada’s 4th congressional district as well as the 2022 US Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden, the 46th President of the USA for Outstanding Volunteering.
