GODSU Student’s Empower U Conferences and Graduations always start with the Residency and Empower – U Program, where the Chancellor highlights the vision, the 7 – Pillars, and the Foundation Blocks of the University. Each program is unique and original, while always building and leveling up progressively. The December 2024 program was quite exceptional as it revealed students’ journey towards empowerment and a successful graduation that visualized a series of moments and events in conferences and ceremonies to highlight their growth, learning, and accomplishments. These events were incredibly inspiring, both for the students and for those who attended to support them. Here’s an outline of how these events unfold:
Empowerment Residency and Conferences for Students, Alumni, Interns, and GODSU Family.
These conferences are designed to inspire and empower students in their academic and personal development. They often focus on key programs and courses such as core chaplaincies, business studies, entrepreneurship, c-suites, management, leadership, career planning, social impact, self-confidence, and professional networking with more than 193 courses. Students who go through
these courses are given tools, insights, and motivation to excel in their academic, and professional careers and beyond.
There are always outstanding Keynote Speakers, moderators, and panelists, who are Inspirational leaders, successful alumni, and professionals from various fields who speak to students about their personal journeys, challenges, and success strategies.
Students connect with mentors, potential employers, and like-minded peers to expand their professional and personal circles toward excellence and leadership success.
Practical sessions on building resumes, biographies, elevator speeches, interview skills, public speaking, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Conversations about diversity, mental health, wellness, family and fatherhood support and development coupled with global citizenship, and other important topics shaping the future are dealt with during the conferences.
Interactive sessions that encourage students to challenge their limits, visualize their future, and take bold actions are discussed.
set clear and achievable goals for each study session. Whether it’s completing a set of practice problems or reviewing lecture notes, having specific objectives will keep you motivated and on track.
GODSU has been a life-changing experience for me. The interfaith approach expanded my understanding of global faith communities and entrepreneurship. The mentorship I received from the faculty was invaluable, allowing me to launch my nonprofit focused on empowering women worldwide. I’m forever grateful for the transformative education and network I gained at GODSU.

Graduation: This is the culmination of the student Journey usually within the shortest period.
Graduation is the pinnacle of a student’s academic experience, marking the end of their studies and the beginning of their next adventure, an ever-progressing venture and career in life. It’s not just about receiving a certificate, diploma, or degree, it’s about acknowledging growth, resilience, and the challenges overcome along the way. We overcome challenges and obstacles together as a family – GODSU family. The Chancellor selects the Commencement Speaker who addresses the students and the university in a unique and prestigious manner. Often an influential figure or alumni delivers a speech meant to inspire the graduates to continue their journey with courage, vision, and compassion.
Graduates are individually recognized in their fields while highlighting their uniqueness and originality as they virtually receive their certificates, diplomas, and degrees often with a mix of joy, pride, and reflection.
The traditional academic dress and hoodie ceremony symbolizes the completion of the academic journey and the transition to a new stage in life is practiced with dignity.
The ceremony is both a personal and communal experience – celebrating individual achievements while also recognizing the support of family, peers, groups, interns, youth, and faculty.
The transition from student to professional is a time of both excitement and uncertainty. Universities often offer career guidance, alumni networking opportunities, and resources for continued learning.
Outstanding images and flyers are designed by the graphic department to represent this transition for students attending the empower – U conferences and graduation ceremony, while the website: https://www.godsu.org helps students and non-students navigate the way through smoothly and frictionlessly with a remarkable learning management system towards a favorable self-paced learning. You can use all available flyers and links to enroll new students in all social media platforms, channels, and networks. Always remember that all roads lead to GODSU!
