Hospital and Hospice Chaplains - Godsu Global Oved Dei Seminary and University

Hospital and Hospice Chaplaincy

Chaplains serve people of all faiths and those with no religious affiliation, offering comfort during medical crises, serious diagnoses, surgeries, and end-of-life care. Their responsibilities often include: – Patient Support, Family Care, Staff Assistance, Interfaith Services, and End-of-Life Ministry.

About The Program

Hospital chaplaincy is a course in GODSU that involves providing spiritual, emotional, and religious support to patients, families, and healthcare staff in medical settings. Hospice Care Chaplaincy on the other hand is one and the same GODSU course with Hospital care. This course focuses on providing comfort, dignity, and peace for terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice care is specifically for those in their final stages of life.

The Key aspects of this course include: – Spiritual Comfort, Life Review and Closure, Grief, and Bereavement Support. Students will be able to define hospice care, explain the centralized program of palliative and supportive services to transitioning individuals and their families, in the form of physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care and Identify services provided by an interdisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers who are available at home and in specialized inpatient settings

Both hospital and hospice chaplains play a crucial role in ensuring that individuals facing medical challenges receive the spiritual and emotional support they need.

GODSU ENTRANCE AND EXIT MODELS FOR EXECUTIVE PROFESSIONAL DEGREE PROGRAMS:

  1. A SINGLE-CHANNEL GODSU ENTRANCE AND EXIT MODEL
  2. A MULTIPLE-CHANNEL GODSU ENTRANCE AND EXIT MODEL
  3. An OMNI-CHANNEL GODSU ENTRANCE AND EXIT MODEL

GODSU adopts a suitable GODSU Entrance Requirements that consists of chaplaincy, honors, and earned associates, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degree Mechanism with a Single Exit Model for a 9 – months for any qualified student. The model includes core, interdisciplinary, and advanced forms of quality education and a suitable channel that is dynamic with flexible standard Entrance Requirements. The first channel is through executive work experience of all demographics and levels (basic, intermediate, and advanced), while the second channel is High School, College/University Credits and grades that meet desired requirements to qualify for GODSU Earned degrees, while the third channel is in between the first and the second. The requirements to qualify for GODSU programs with Accreditation Model for the different channels are translated into the benefits and achievements of the students.

WHAT IS GODSU WORK-EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCY MODEL-BASED EDUCATION?

It means that rather than tracking the time students spend in a classroom, which is all about the skills and comprehension that the student can display within a given time in the classroom, we want the student to utilize their knowledge, capitalize on their experience, and follow the best process of their own learning to fulfill purpose in the society within the shortest possible time at minimum cost.

The students can use what they know to graduate faster through a work-experience and competency model-based E-Learning Education. It’s all about what the student knows, not how long the students have been in school.

If students can learn faster, spend more time on schoolwork, or lean on knowledge they already have from previous work or school experience, they can accelerate through courses. They can earn their degrees for about half of the cost of other universities.

They will pay tuition per 9 – month session not per course or credit. So when the students move faster through their courses, they also lower the cost.

Undergraduate Program: 5,000 – $10,000

Master’s Program: $40,000 -$80,000

Doctorate Program: $80,000 – $100,000

New Students can begin their program on the 1st of any month. So the students can start whenever they are ready, rather than rushing or waiting for fall or spring enrollment.

Don’t wait any longer. Complete your application and get started on your journey today!

Once the student is admitted and enrolled into any of the programs, the student would be allowed to select the required courses based on the semester hours (60 – 110) and the course credits (1 -5).
